welcome

I must learn to love the fool in me
the one who feels too much
talks too much
takes too many chances
wins sometimes and loses often
lacks self-control
loves and hates
hurts and gets hurt
promises and breaks promises
laughs and cries.

Series of Unfortunate Events

haven't blogged in a while.. i said i shall only blog abt happy things.. but seems like there's nth much to be happy abt ever since the previous entry..

2 sundays ago we went for badminton session as usual.. but that time it was at NUS.. omg, it's hard to find... there were many courts available =) but according to the others the floor is too slippery.. i couldn't really tell since my shoes weren't badminton shoes.. i twisted my ankle again.. didn't really hurt *phew* but i got "smashed" by someone (i dun rmb who) plus i hurt my hand somehow.. so monday went to see sinseh and got my wrist bandaged up..

last tues went to Tampanies.. so many malls there =) many shops to look at.. gd gd.. saw a couple of dress that i liked but the price prevented me from buying them.. SG and KT were saying similiar pieces could be found online at a lower prices.. I shall keep a lookout... or maybe i shall not since i'm so poor now.. Uniqlo is not very Unique.. maybe other than their bra tops.. it is really innovative and i think many party girls/ladies will like it.. so CONVENIENT for certain actions.. anyway they have nice paper bagsdidn't go down to chaichee and got SUAN-ed.. it didn't occur to me that i HAVE to go.. i tot since my sis is at hm i shld buy dinner for her and therefore go home.. i was so wrong.. so for the next 4 days without fail i will report there as early as i could either with my mum, my aunt or my sis. the rituals and stuff were quite confusing, we just blindly followed the instructions.. it wasn't really a very sad occasion.. not like in movies where everyone were sulking or crying.. my grandma made a rare appearance and given her mental state she couldn't rmb anything current and her emotions are most prob haywired.. but she cried on both occasions where she lighted the joss-sticks.. it's like for that moment she realised what was going on but ltr she forgets.. my granddad cried too when he saw her cry.. i felt like crying too.. both days i saw her cry (front view)..

in between i got the letter from NUS... yeah! finally!i tot finally i can sleep long hours.. i was wrong.. the vr night i came back my nose hurt. it felt as though water is stuck in the windpipe or whatever that's called.. vr painful and i kept whinning.. had problems going to sleep cos it was really uncomfortable.. the next day i woke up at 7 plus cos i felt as though i was burning from the inside.. OH NO!! FEVER!! so i went to take a cold shower and shivered vigourously =( the fever didn't subside for much of the day.. instead it went up up up up up... morning i was feeling vr horrible, could open my eyes and didn't really want to move so i pop in a panadol .. afternoon i took another panadol since the fever was still there.. this time a stronger panadol.. tried to sleep but didn't sleep much.. at night was a total horror.. by 6pm i was burning, but i couldn't eat panadol yet (too few hours) lucky that there were things on tv to distract me from my suffering.. by 8 plus 38.2!! since when someone so old can hv such high body temp.. my sis tot the thermometer was damaged so she took her body temp too.. Nah-ah-ah.. it was a totally working thermometer.. so down goes 2 panadol this time plus my 3rd cold shower of the day..this wkend was the Grand Prix of Monte Carlo.. Kimi qualified in second plus this is the most exciting race so i HAVE to watch..

watching really did relieve me of some pain =) unfortunately Kimi finished 3rd but nvm, this is Ferrari's best performance this season (Massa finished 4th).. great improvement!

Brawns have already won the drivers championship and constructor's championship so i dunno why are they are so hardworking.. maybe their car is really superior this season..

(end of post)

survival sunday of BPL was supposed to be exciting.. but in the end it ended where it started.. bye bye west brom bye bye middo bye bye newcastle.. believe it or not it's N-E-W-C-A-S-T-L-E this proved that no club is too big to go down.. i really couldn't believe it.. i was saddened by it seriously.. 冰冻三尺 非一日之寒 newcastle's prob started brewing long ago.. maybe my analysis is not totally accurate but what i say is abased on what i could recall from the past few yrs..

summer of 2007 - NFC bought Alan Smith, a ManU reject. NFC shld have realised that sth shld be wrong with this guy if not why would ManU release him.. really true indeed. for the entire of 0708 season this striker scored none yet he was still getting paid.. all the $ spent on him could have been used to buy another better player but another player was wasting more of NFC's resources -- Michael Owen..

Michael Owen -- pro striker who is ultra injury prone.. if salaries of footballers were to be classified, i dare say he belongs to the higher or at least middle upper class.. when he's in form WOW but he spent most of his NFC time on the surgery table or the sidelines..

yr 2008 -- sold James Milner who came back to haunt newcastle during the final game of the 0809 season... he was playing as though he wanted to push NFC into the championship.. maybe he wanted to show NFC that he was a talent that they let go.. i agree. he's a young talent.. what a waste for NFC. but if they had bought in someone who was as good or better fine but they bought in players whom i dun even rmb their names..

Joey Barton -- the guy who got into trouble with law.. he was jailed.. he came out and NFC still continued to field him eventually but he went crazy again and did some crazy tackle on Xabi Alonso. sad case

King Keegan -- he went back to NFC for his 2nd stint as manager. good move i would say. but to my greatest surprise he left in the early months of the 0809 season. he claimed that he didn't like that he wasn't in control of the transfer mkt.. the transfer mkt has become a "bidding arena" or "stock exchange mkt" the boss, who knows nuts abt football, decides who to allow in and out not the manager, who is the man standing at the sideline and shouting orders to his players. how sad.. becos of this prob Tottenham and WestHam were in a mess too.. but luckily for them Harry Redknapp and Zola went to their rescue respectively.. after KK left, NFC were looking for their next manager.. and guess who they appointed

"the sickly" manager whose name i can't rmb -- he was appointed the temp manager. his past records weren't fascinating but his medical records were.. he had illnesses that a manager preferably should not have.. his health status seemed quite okay at the beginning but by 09 he was hospitalised -.- once again the poor assistant was put in charge AGAIN.. time passed and the Boss didn't try to engage a new perm manager until the 9th last game of the season..

Alan Shearer -- the NFC hero of the past. he was a real gd player. although he had no managerial experience, he was their last hope. maybe the boss was thinking Shearer could inspire the team. i tot it was too little too late.. why wasn't he appointed immediately after the sickly manager was hospitalised? but i have to applaud Shearer. He put his name on the line for NFC *applause*

Mike Ashely -- The boss/ jerk. i really dun like him.. yucks! He's the roots of all evil here.. he put the club up for sale when the club needed stability.. his fortune was shrinking so he was panicking.. Every club's bosses hv shrinking fortunes (except Man City's growing fortune) but they held on.. in my opinion any sale of clubs shld be done in the off season. this will affect the players/coaches the least..
