welcome

I must learn to love the fool in me
the one who feels too much
talks too much
takes too many chances
wins sometimes and loses often
lacks self-control
loves and hates
hurts and gets hurt
promises and breaks promises
laughs and cries.

sports weekend

have been watching lots of sports these few days... well the usual tennis, soccer and f1. but boy-o-boy this really has been some insane days..

Sony Ericsson Open 2009

Watched Djo's game against Tsonga. I thought Djo would be defeated becos he lost to tsonga for 4 cont times recently.. but to my surprise djo, ok... i hoped he would win but...

watched nadal's game against wawrinka.. omg. this game is so tensed. both sets ended 7-6.. nadal won plainly becos he had fewer unforced error. wawrinka had aces, nadal had none. totally shocked. and some shots by wawrinka is really"WOW"

on the left is wawrinka with federer on the right.

then came the shocker that nadal lost to del potro. complained to huili.. by now i realised that this masters is actually like a decider as to who will take the world no. 3 spot in ATP. if murray advances further than djo, murray wud take over that spot. the draw has been drawn in such a way that the winner of the nadal-del potro game wud play the winner of murray-forgot game. so it's like almost D-U-H for murray to win del potro, which he did, i mean murray has been in red hot form in recent months.

federer lost to djo to my extreme surprise. but i have to say, fed was quite weird during this game. unusually many unforced errors, things like hitting the ball OUT of the court when he was right in front of the net. and the most most shocking thing is that he smashed his racket cos he's totally pissed..
Federer's rare act , Click to view video

now watching djo vs murray. ok i noe the % of djo winning is ultra low.. but í'm still gonna watch it anyway.. now is only the 4th game but murray has broken djo's serve twice. omg!! and in no way does djo look like he's gonna win this set.. now's the 4th game and murray is already leading 40-0. are u sure this is a final? totally lob-sided. wonder what went wrong for djo ever since winning the aust open last yr.. that's like more than 1 entire yr ago.. i just hope that djo will be sporty.. no need to win. but just fight. dun let murray get rid of him so soon so easily. the stakes are high here.. huge prize $$ and the world 3rd spot. i really feel like switching off my tv now.. almost can't bear to continue watching...

Formula 1

This week the race goes to Sepang.. The GOH is the new malaysian PM. i actually didn't know they changed PM until ytd i think. omg.. really haven't updated myself with such impt things recently.. bad bad..

qualifying was a heartache for me again. Rai is not performing again.. and Massa's all the way back, he didn't even get pass Q1 -.- This season is real weird. the ferrari and mclaren are like almost invisible. totally nightmare-ish.. esp for ferrari. but brawn is totally totally WOW WOW WOW. they almost didn't get to race at all cos Hondo sorta pulled out but 2 wks b4 the aust grand prix, i think, brawn came to the rescue.. then virgin came out to become the major sponsor of Brawn GP.. look at the clothe of Button and Bar and u will see how plain theirs is compared to the other teams

ps.. i'm really fainting from watching tennis.. djo is down 5-1 in 20 mins!!!

the malaysian GP was totally crazy. they predicted rain 10 min into the race. but rain didn't come.. ltr it came in bits and pieces. so the track was like completely dry somewhere and drizzling elsewhere -.- the track is too huge i suppose.

The Sepang course

so rai gambled and put on extreme wet tires. poor poor choice. he could drive as fast as the rest. he's like 10 secs slower than others each round. then i think the weather prediction thingy got struck by lightning.. no one knew the rain was coming fast and furious. so everyone came in change their tires to intermediate wets, they had prev stuck to slick tires during their 1st routine pit stop. then the crazy rain poured and the entire track was flooding.. the rain rushing down from uphill. so everyone rushed in to change to extreme wets. and within the next 10 mins the red flag came out. race was suspended. b4 that cars were spinning around on the track and i think many of the drivers couldn't see their way. they had put on some black thingy on their visors cos they were afraid that sunset would be too bright.. those black black sticker are like those on car windows.. those that block out sunlight.

the cars were mostly parked at the starting grid. drivers wondering if they could/should continue. it's up to the race director (if i nv rmb the title wrongly) to decide whether things are going on. u can't really see the rain from here. if u zoom out this is what u will see.

lalala. fast forward. the camera man found rai all dried and in shorts taking out an ice-cream to eat from the fridge -.- he had wheeled his car into the garage during the red flag becos he's car had some probs with the KERS system. during all these everyone else were wondering whether they could cont on with the race.. all tensed up except the ICEMAN.. but actually it's not good news for iceman.. he's got no championship points again!! how can!!! is he really gonna fade away from F1 just like that? he's got 1 world title but look at alonso he got 2 back to back and he's still fighting hard in every race regardless of his position. or is Ferrari really so suay every week to get sth wrong that really dashed the hopes? =(

these are last yr's top 3 finishers of Sepang but none of them finished today. Kubica (left) couldn't start his car which ltr came on fire (not a huge fire). Raikkonen (centre) is the Ice-cream eating man. Kov (i forgot how to spell his name, he's on the right anyway). He spunned onto the gravel in the 1st round -.-

really kan bu xia qu le.. djo's 1 set down in under 36 mins =(

the race ended becos there was not enuff time to finish running it and the raibn was too huge for them to drive anyway. there's this weird rule that the race have to finish within 2 hrs so as to fit into TV time -.- the race in Msia and Aus has been changed to late afternoon race becos of TV too.. FIA wanted to make sure that it suits the Europeans who watch.. poor drivers becos of that they had to endure during when the sun is setting and when place is getting darker. it's no night race sia. they dun have the lights prepared. boooooo. the media money is really making sportsmen's life tougher while at the same time making their lives better. if u dun please the media people, u get fewer advertisement $$, lower viewership, smaller prize $$, more games/races removed..

EPL

this is one heart attk. liverpool had to win to keep themselves in the title race. time ticked away on the clock as they try to break the fulham defence. hit the pole not once not twice but at least 4 times. really felt like fainting.. finally at the 92nd min they scored. phew

Man U.. omg omg omg. i just finished watching the game before starting to type this entry. that game was 100% entertaining. and not suitable for anti Man U peeps to watch. man U led 1-0.. then 1-1 by half time.. AV managed to crawl back and led 2-1 in the early part of 2nd half. so AV gained confidence.. chiong chiong chiong. tried their best to get their 3rd. Man U on the other side was almost panicking.. also chiong chiong chiong to tackle every ball possible to get back possesion so that they can at least try to score somehow.. so vroom vroom vroom.. ur heart will vroom with the pace they are playing at. everyone at their 100% or more. then ronaldo came at an unlikely moment and scored. so man U are level at 2-2 at abt 80+min.. u think it's gonna end here. hell NO. this weird ref, who allowed a free kick in the penalty box which man U scored (since when there's free kick in the box??!!), gave 5 mins of extra time. OMG. like where got so many sub and injury?? where did this 5 mins grow from? and true true true enuff. Man U killed AV in that 5 min. this young boy, 17 yrs old. scored on his Man U debut. omg omg omg. Macheda. the name that's gonna be splashed all over the newspaper. He ran into the crowd to hug his family (i think after he scored) and got a yellow card. but what's the big deal. his goal could be that 1 goal that decides this yr's EPL title! and look at how happy the players, the entire stadium (minus the AV fans are)

above are Man U's 2 scorer of the day. left is Macheda. photo from espnsoccernet.

err.. why is djo's trainer down here again? why does it always happen. i know he has a medical record but why does it look a little too often? i totally worry sia. if he really can't take it will he suddenly collapse 1 day or leave the sport? is all this too much for him?

eh.. suddenly the tides are turned. Djo is leading 4-1 at the 2nd set. this is so weird. what's with the 2 of them?
