question of the day: Would you sit down if you knew you were alighting at the next stop?

this was a simple question i asked myself when i saw someone doing that.. he rushed to get a seat only to stand up as soon as the bus reached the next stop. omg -.-
posted the thought on FB and got quite a few comments for it..

so to sit or not to sit?

depends on how far is the next stop i suppose
depends on how tired i am i suppose

but it can be quite a chore..

hmmm. maybe i shld just stand. in case other ppl think i siao/ bo liao or wadever.

but then i thought of sth. maybe this question can mean more than it does on the surface.

do i sit down if i know i'm alighting at the next stop..

do i sit down if i have a feeling i'll alight at the next stop..

do i sit down if i think it'll be uncomfortable and hence resulting in me alighting at the next stop..

if anyone gets what i mean. can u pls enlighten me what to choose?
